About this experience

Universal Studios Singapore brings Hollywood blockbusters to life across 7 themed zones, from the neon-lit streets of Sci-Fi City to the fairytale castles of Far Far Away. You'll find rides like Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON and TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle alongside family-friendly attractions like Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase.

The park recreates iconic settings from film and television, including a 1920s Egyptian archaeological dig, the dinosaur-filled landscapes of Jurassic Park, and the streets of New York City. You can catch live performances at the WaterWorld show, meet characters from Kung Fu Panda and Despicable Me, and explore everything from Hollywood Boulevard to Ancient Egypt within a single visit.

What to expect

You'll enter through Hollywood Boulevard before choosing your route through the park's 7 themed zones. Each zone recreates a different film universe with its own rides, shows, and photo opportunities. Sci-Fi City houses the high-speed thrill rides, while zones like Far Far Away and The Lost World offer a mix of attractions suited to different preferences.

The park opens at 10:00 and closes at 19:00. You can move freely between zones, stopping for character meet-and-greets, live shows like the WaterWorld performance, and themed dining experiences. Some rides and shows operate on varying schedules throughout the day, so you'll want to check availability as you explore.

Great fun for 4 hours, short queues, and easy ticketing I recently visited Universal Studios Singapore with my wife and our 1.5-year-old son (who was in a stroller). Overall, we had a really great time! Since we had a baby with us, we took it slow and enjoyed the park one activity at a time. We were there for about 4 hours and managed to try the best rides rather than rushing through everything. The few rides we did experience were really great quality. Logistics were smooth—we bought our tickets right at the counter, and the wait time for most rides was very reasonable (usually no more than 10 minutes). There were some guys outside selling tickets for $5 SGD less from actual price, but it felt a bit suspicious, so we decided to play it safe and purchase directly from the official ticket counter. It’s worth noting that if your child is a bit bigger (and tall enough for more rides), you will definitely find more value for money here. However, even with a toddler, it was a pleasant experience. Compared to my visit to Universal Studios Paris a long time ago, I found Singapore to be less crowded. The Paris park felt bigger and (from memory) slightly more enjoyable, but the shorter queues in Singapore made for a very relaxed family day out.

Had a great time at the park! It wasn’t too crowded, and the queue times were quite reasonable, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. The park itself is on the smaller side, and a few attractions were unfortunately closed during our visit, we spend less than 4 hours, which was a bit disappointing. The Mummy ride was absolutely thrilling, highly recommended! Overall, still a fun and worthwhile visit.

I had the best experience here, the meet n greets were amazing, the best part was the roller coaster, they have 2 rollers coaster which was on the transformers theme humans vs cylon, the scariest one and the best was the cylon coaster. I had taken the universal express which was worth it for all the rides especially on weekends to get fast access to the rides especially the roller coaster or the popular rides as the wait time goes up to 70min. Using the express pass the longest I had to wait was for 10min.

This may be the smallest Universal Studios in the world but there's still plenty of fun. The 6-month seasonal pass (S$160) was so worth it since I visited twice a month, as compared to the one-time S$76 ticket. My favourite rides are Cylon, Revenge of the Mummy and Canopy Flyer. Queues are much longer on weekends, sometimes up to 90 min, and I wish there were seats in the queuing area. There used to be 2 rollercoasters running per track but also many technical faults, so they reduced to 1. Some rides are not very popular, like Buggie Boogie, Silly Swirly, Magic Potion Ride and Accelerator. These queues are 10-20 mins. If you're going alone, there are Single Riders queues for Rapids Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy and Minion Mayhem, which has a much faster queue. Do check the timing for closing because they differ at different seasons of the year. There is also fireworks at 8pm in January, which lasts for 4 minutes. Also, kudos to the performers who perform several times a day with the same level of enthusiasm and energy. 👏
