What to expect
The Asakusa Hanayashiki near Sensoji Temple opened in 1853 and is a historic amusement park in Tokyo. "Hanayashiki", as the name suggests, is a place where flowers bloom. Although the area is not large, it has a unique interest. Asakusa's flower や し き (flower house) is a public playground, equivalent to a small community children's amusement park, merry-go-round, swan cruise, air pirate ship, viewing car, small tram, surprise house, the highest point of 45 meters Bee Tower, Japan's oldest surviving Showa roller coaster, they are all painted in bright and warm colors.

We had a wonderful rickshaw ride with Nissy and Shiyu! They were such wonderful and friendly guides. Our whole family loved this! They went out of their way to get great photos for us and tell us interesting stories and facts about Japan. Even though it was a very cold day, it was so lovely because they covered us with blankets and the seats were heated. We will definitely be back! Thank you Nissy and Shiyu!

We had an amazing time with Kanta! We didn’t even know when the ride came to an end. Kanta beautifully explained all historical sites we visited. He cleared all our questions and it made us fall in love with japan more ! He even wrote us thank you in Tamil! Hardworking and sweet guy! Good luck Kanta! I spent just one day in Tokyo, but the Asakusa rickshaw tour made it unforgettable. I’ve sadly spelling the guide’s name A-K-I, yet I’ll always remember her warm smile, her strength, and the way she brought history to life as we rolled through the streets. She was an amazing driver and storyteller—friendly, passionate, and full of heart. If I return to Tokyo, I’ll definitely choose a longer rickshaw tour. Thank you for such a beautiful memory. Hiji and Kanta surely made our ride magical. We had so much fun while learning a lot about Japan. They taught us not just about the tour but also we exchanged fun local words in Japanese and Tagalog. They made us comfortable throughout the ride . They took excellent videos and pictures of our family. We now have new found friends . We miss them already . It was an amazing experience to take a guided tour on a motorbike around Tokyo and see the Tokyo Skytree. The guide gave interesting explanations and it was a great experience. I highly recommend visiting this area; the people are lovely and friendly, and the food is delicious (I love Japanese food!). There are many more places I want to visit. See you again! 🇯🇵🙏😊
