You can use reserved and non-reserved seats on the Sanyo Shinkansen bullet train between Shin-Osaka and Hakata, limited express trains, and local JR-WEST and JR-SHIKOKU services. Reserved seat tickets must be obtained at JR station ticket offices before boarding.

Machines display menus in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or Korean. If machines malfunction or your passport lacks an IC chip, visit a JR-WEST Ticket Office for exchange.
