Seoul Zoo is the largest zoo in Korea. There are more than 3,000 animals from all over the world, including the precious Roland gorilla. Here you have the opportunity to see the interaction between breeders and animals, and the real life of cute animals. There is also a plant area in the zoo, with more than 900 kinds of plants. In addition, there are many botanical artworks, which are surrounded by the zoo and form a beautiful forest park. You can directly enjoy the zoo and botanical garden here. The Sky Lift will be closed for security checks on Mar 11, Jun 24, Jul 15, Aug 26, and Nov 25, 2025
You can bring a stroller free of charge on the cable car.
Admission tickets for the rose garden at Seoul Zoo must be purchased on-site. (Adult: ₩2,000)
The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art offers free admission. (Famous works include Nam June Paik's video art and Yayoi Kusama's "Pumpkin.") There is also an on-site restaurant where you can have lunch.
May–Aug: 09:00–19:00 (last entry 18:00)
Customers who wish to take the cable car should board at least 30 minutes before closing.
The lift will not be available during these dates.

Each cable car can accommodate up to 3 adults, and infants must be held.
Boarding may be restricted based on the safety manager's judgment.
April to October – Line 1 09:30 AM–7:00 PM/Line 2 09:30 AM–5:40 PM
Children under 10 years old and those with mobility issues or requiring supervision must have at least 1 guardian for every 2 children
Dec–Feb - Line 1: 10:00 AM–5:30 PM / Line 2: 10:00 AM–4:40 PM
The cable car will stop operating in case of severe weather (such as strong winds, thunderstorms, etc.) or equipment maintenance.
