<p><b>HIDDEN Chinatown: Uncensored</b> is an immersive, <b>self-guided experience via WhatsApp</b> where participants are “inducted” into the underworld of Singapore’s Chinatown, learning the codes, territories, and real stories that once ruled the district. </p><br><p>Led virtually by Alvin Chiong, a former secret society member, the trail unfolds like he’s personally showing you the ropes. Through video messages, location prompts, and candid storytelling delivered in real time, Alvin walks you through the backstreets, notorious corners, and secret alleys often overlooked by both locals and tourists. </p><br><p>This is not polished heritage. It is the raw, no-filter underbelly: secret societies, gang rivalries, vice trades, and the survival realities of Chinatown’s past. </p><br><p>But the experience goes deeper than crime history. By the end, participants leave not just informed, but with the feeling of having stepped briefly into a hidden world that shaped the Chinatown we know today. </p><b><br></b><p><b>This experience is designed for participants aged 18 and above. </b></p><br><p>Recognised by the Singapore Tourism Board in 2025 for his innovative approach, Alvin’s trail showcases how heritage storytelling can empower ex-offenders and reconnect people with overlooked histories.</p><p><br></p><b><br></b><p><b>General info</b></p><br><ul><li>Dates and times: select your date & time directly in the ticket selector</li><li>Operating hours: Monday - Sunday, 9:30 am - 8 pm (last session starts at 7:00pm)</li><li>Participants must start the self-guided adventure within 30 minutes of their selected start time</li><li>Duration: approx. 1.5 hours</li><li>Location: Chinatown</li><li>Starting point: KELE - 2 Smith Street, Singapore 058917</li><li>Age requirement: This experience is designed for adults (Aged 18+)due to the nature of content.</li><li>Accessibility: not suitable for wheelchair users</li><li>You will receive a booking confirmation email containing a unique game code with set-up instructions (same email address that was used to purchase tickets)</li></ul><div><b><br></b></div><p><b>To take note:</b> This is a self-guided trail. There are no staff or guides to meet you. Everything is done on your phone, so you can explore freely at your own pace. This immersive adventure is best experienced with groups of 2-5 pax.</p>
