Senkoji Park

Behind Onomichi Station, from the top of Senkoji Mountain at an altitude of 144.2 meters to the mountainside, there is an open place for viewing cherry blossoms, which is Senkoji Park. There are nearly 10,000 cherry trees in the park, including weeping cherry trees, sakura cherry trees, and someiyoshino cherry trees. The scenery is very charming during the cherry blossom season. In addition, the park also has facilities such as the Municipal Museum of Art, Literature Path, and amusement parks. The observation deck on the top of the mountain can also overlook the street scene of Onomichi and the island scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
