Booking

How do I book an activity?

Find an activity you like, select your date, time, and number of guests, then proceed to checkout. Enter your details, apply any promo codes, and complete your payment. You'll receive an instant confirmation email with your booking reference and voucher.

Can I book without creating an account?

Yes! Guest checkout is available for all bookings. You'll receive your confirmation and voucher by email. Creating an account lets you manage your bookings, save favourites, and check out faster next time.

How do I get my tickets/voucher?

Your voucher is delivered by email after booking confirmation. You can also access it anytime from your booking page. Most vouchers include a QR code — just show it on your phone at the entrance. No printing needed.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes. During checkout, you can choose "Booking for someone else" and enter the visitor's name and email. The voucher will be sent to both your email and theirs.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Changes & Cancellations

How do I cancel a booking?

Go to My Bookings, find your booking, and click "Cancel Booking". You can also email us at support@tixlayer.com with your booking reference. See our Cancellations & Refunds page for full details.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds are processed to your original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Can I change the date of my booking?

We don't currently support date changes directly. You can cancel your booking (if within the free cancellation window) and make a new booking for a different date.

What if the activity is cancelled by the supplier?

If the supplier cancels, you'll receive a full refund automatically. We'll notify you by email and help you find an alternative if possible.

Pricing & Payments

Are the prices shown per person?

Prices vary by activity. Some are per person, others are per group or per ticket type (Adult, Child, etc.). The pricing structure is clearly shown on each activity page and at checkout.

What currency will I be charged in?

Prices are displayed in your selected currency. Payment is processed in a supported payment currency (GBP, USD, EUR, SGD, etc.). If your display currency differs from the payment currency, the converted amount is shown at checkout.

Is there a service fee?

A small service fee may be added to your booking. This covers our platform costs and is clearly shown during checkout before you pay.

Can I use a promo code?

Yes! Enter your promo code in the checkout page. The discount will be applied to your total. Promo codes may have conditions such as minimum spend, validity periods, or usage limits.

Account

Do I need an account to book?

No. You can book as a guest. Creating an account gives you access to booking management, wishlists, and faster checkout.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Sign In", then "Forgot password". Enter your email and we'll send you a reset code.

How do I delete my account?

Contact us at support@tixlayer.com and we'll process your account deletion request within 30 days.

Is TixLayer a travel agency?

TixLayer is an online marketplace. We connect you with activity suppliers and facilitate the booking and payment process. Your contract for the activity is with the supplier — we help make the experience seamless.
