<p>The Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower is arguably the most recognizable feature on Shanghai’s skyline. Completed in 1994, it has come to symbolize China’s modernization and emergence on the global scene. Visitors travel up and down the Oriental Pearl Tower in double-decker elevators that can hold up to fifty people. Located on the tower’s lower levels is the Shanghai Municipal History Museum. Given its iconic status, this is certainly a can’t-miss attraction.</p>

上海を代表するテレビ塔です。黄浦江を東西に分けて昔から栄えていた浦西と新しく開発した浦東に分かれますが、この塔は東側にいて有名なバンドから眺めるととても綺麗な景色が楽しめます。高さ259メートルにあるガラス張りの床が有名ですが、高所恐怖症の人だけではなく肝が据わっている人も少し足をすくめてしまうほど迫力満点です。上海を訪れた際には一度体験することをお勧めします。ただ、展望台とこの床以外は大きな特徴はなくこれで199元とは少しお高いです。

翼の向こうに（MTSUCHIY）
外灘のランドマーク的電波塔？通称「注射器」。 「ちいかわ」のイベントなどやっていて、ここは上海か？はたまた日本か？みたいな様子。 でも、これのおかげで中国の若い女の子たちの会話や様子が見れて楽しめました。

東方明珠電視塔は、上海の浦東新区にそびえる象徴的なタワーで、1994年の完成以来、上海のランドマークとして多くの観光客を惹きつけています。高さは約468メートルで、独特の球体が連なるデザインは近未来的かつ中国らしい大胆さを感じさせます。展望フロアは数か所に分かれており、中でも高さ259メートルの「空中回廊」は全面ガラス張りでスリル満点。足元が透けて見えるガラス床からは、真下の街並みを直に感じることができ、まさに空中散歩のような体験ができます。夜には塔全体が美しくライトアップされ、黄浦江とともに幻想的な夜景を演出。館内には展示施設やレストランも充実しており、観光と学びの両方が楽しめるスポットです。上海の近代化とダイナミズムを象徴する建築として、一度は訪れたい場所のひとつです。

中国旅行中、現金が使えない場所が多い中で、ここ上海タワーは現金でチケットが買えた。観光客にはとてもありがたいポイント。入口もわかりやすく、私の拙い英語でも対応してくれて安心だった。 エレベーターで一気に展望台まで上がると、そこには上海のパノラマが広がっていて圧巻。東方明珠タワーや黄浦江を見下ろす形で、上海という都市のスケールの大きさを実感した。 天気が良かったので見晴らしも抜群。ビルの影までくっきり見えるくらい遠くまで視界が開けていて、昼間の景色でも十分に感動できる。夜景もいつか見てみたいと思わせてくれる場所だった。 展望台には小さなカフェや展示スペースもあり、景色を見るだけでなくゆっくり過ごすこともできる。行列はあるものの、全体的にスムーズでストレスのない観光ができた。 上海を訪れるなら、間違いなく外せないランドマーク。近未来的な都市の姿と、人に優しい運営が両立している貴重な場所だと思う。
