You make your own way to a designated meeting point instead of being collected from your accommodation, then join the English-guided group for Kegon Falls, the observatory and Toshogu Shrine. Bookings must be placed by 17:00 local time the day before travel, and a member of staff contacts you by 22:00 that evening with the meeting arrangements. You stay with the group for the full day, as the itinerary does not allow you to leave early.
