このパントツアーは、Cambridge中心部の混雑する乗り場から離れた、River Camの静かな区間から出発します。そのため、水上で過ごす時間を長く確保でき、ルート上で2つの見どころを追加で楽しむことができます。Sir Edwin Lutyensが設計したSilver Street Bridgeの下をくぐり、川辺の庭園や図書館を持つDarwin Collegeへと向かう間、Cambridgeの学生や地元のガイドがパントを操縦しながら解説を行います。
ルートはQueens' Collegeや、直線的な木材を組み合わせてカーブを描くMathematical Bridgeを過ぎ、扇状の天井で知られるKing's College Chapelへと続きます。The Backs沿いにはClare College、Trinity Hall、そしてNewtonやByronが学んだTrinity Collegeの横を通り、St John's CollegeとBridge of Sighsの近くでツアーは終了します。ガイドがカレッジの銘板には書かれていない、学生の伝統や大学生活の裏話までたっぷりと語り尽くします。

体験内容
ツアーはCambridgeの混雑したパント乗り場から離れた、River Cam沿いの静かな場所からスタートします。Cambridgeの学生やこの街を深く知る地元ガイドがパントを操り、Darwin Collegeを通過し、Silver Street Bridgeの下を進みます。自分だけでは見落としてしまいそうな細かな見どころも丁寧に案内します。
そこからパントはQueens' College、Mathematical Bridge、King's College Chapelのそばを通り、それぞれのランドマークにまつわるエピソードを交えながら進みます。The Backsに沿ってClare College、Trinity Hall、Trinity Collegeを巡り、St John's CollegeとBridge of Sighsの近くで終了となります。乗船中はリラックスして写真撮影を楽しんだり、学生生活やCambridgeの歴史についてガイドに質問したりして自由にお過ごしください。
注意事項
- 屋外のため天候に合わせた服装でお越しください（ブランケットや傘はご用意しています）
- 乗り降りには多少バランスが必要なため、滑りにくいフラットシューズをお勧めします
- 安定を保つため、低めの姿勢で座り、船上では急な動きを控えてください
