I have discovered le Jardin d‘Acclimatation à Paris for the First Time this year and I have to admit this was Great! Le Jardin is located in Bois de Boulogne. Such a Green and festive Park in the center of Paris so close to the Business District la Defense is unusual and feels really great. The whole family enjoyed it so much for the day spent between attractions, green walks, shows and food pits. Highly recommended. Was very calm on dec. 23rd and the unlimited pass allowed us to enjoy fully and extensively what le Jardin is offering.

The Acclimation Park in the Bois de Boulogne was created as a scientific, applied and educational project and opened in 1860 with the aim of studying and "acclimatizing" exotic plants and animals in France. In the first decades, it was a place of scientific experiments, botanical and zoological demonstrations. In the second half of the 20th century, the park gradually became more family-oriented with attractions, a mini-farm and carousels, and in the 21st century, especially in 2017-2018, a modernization program was carried out with the participation of LVMH group and related funds, preserving the historical landscape and at the same time transforming it into a modern family amusement park with an area of about 20 hectares with numerous walking areas and attractions. Undoubtedly, this park is a unique place for Paris, and you should definitely come here to find out what Paris is like, as a city that cares about its residents, because there is just a lot provided for families to relax, with children, and to introduce them to Nature. It's just strange that on normal weekdays, almost no cafe is open here, except for a small mobile stall.

We wen there to see the Japanese lantern festival.to is it was disappointing because it seemed not very authentic. The food stalls were ok but some were more fit to at a German Christmas market. However, it seemed a good idea to go to the festival with young children.

Great for young children, picturesque setting, calm atmosphere, variety of attractions, good value for all-inclusive passes. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the park is certainly an experience.
