About this ticket

The JR West Hiroshima-Yamaguchi Area Pass provides unlimited train travel within the Hiroshima-Yamaguchi region. You'll receive an Exchange Order which must be swapped for the physical pass at an official exchange office in Japan. The pass is valid only for tourists with temporary visitor status.

How to redeem

Exchange your Exchange Order for the physical JR Pass at an Official Exchange Office in Japan within 90 days of issuance. Once exchanged, you have 30 days to activate and start using the pass.

Important notes

Must book before traveling to Japan, recommended 2+ weeks in advance
Name and country must exactly match passport details
Valid only for non-Japanese passport holders with Temporary Visitor visa stamp
Non-Japanese permanent residents of Japan cannot use this pass
Must obtain Temporary Visitor stamp at immigration (avoid automated gates)
Japanese passport holders residing abroad 10+ years eligible with additional documentation
Shipping delays possible during Eid Al-Fitri (18-25 March 2026)
