Muß man gesehen haben. Tickets für die Flussfahrt kann man vorher kaufen, Muß man aber nicht. Man muß sich nur entscheiden, ob man tagsüber oder abends fährt.

Das Highlight für mich in Melaka, die Stadt an sich fand ich nicht schön und ehrlich hässlich, aber der River Cruise war sehr schön. Mit einem Boot schippert man durch einen Kanal und sieht die ganzen liebevoll bemalten und gestalteten Häuser. Die Fahrt dauerte ca. 30 Minuten, was absolut ausreichend war.

Die Rundfahrt ist kurzweilig und nett. Das Personal ist freundlich und man hat die Möglichkeit zwischendurch auszusteigen und in einem späteren Boot wieder einzusteigen. Leider ist es kein Rundkurs, so dass ich einen Stern in der Bewertung abziehe. Außerdem könnten die Boote auch etwas langsamer fahren.

Ich hatte die abendliche Tour an einem Samstag gebucht (Onlinebuchung) als es schon dunkel war. Es war alles sehr schön beleuchtet. Die Onlinebuchung war eine gute Entscheidung, da die Warteschlange für das herkömmliche Ticket sehr viel langer war (separate Warteschlange für Onlinebuchungen vorhanden). Das Ticket vor Ort kann nur die den jeweiligen Tag gebucht werden. Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht.. Nicht sonderlich aufregend und für ca. 6€ in Ordnung.

Coole Fahrt auf dem Malakka River. Fällt unter die Kategorie "kann man machen - muss aber nicht" Man kann die beleuchteten Brücken und Gebäude auch bei einem Spaziergang erleben. Falls man es bucht, bietet sich der Ticketkauf Online an. Hier kann man an der Schlange vorbei zum Online-Schalter. Wichtig: richtigen Ort auswählen (man kann zwischen zwei Orten wählen) Preis ist mit 38RM (für Ausländer) okay und nicht übertrieben.
