The village is surrounded by volcanic black sandy beaches, ideal for those who want to take surfing lessons and learn to surf in Madeira Island. The island offers a vast array of waves.

Was Sie erwartet

Our surf school is located in Porto da Cruz at the beach called "Praia da Alagoa". Porto da Cruz is the local surf village with two beach breaks, that offer perfect conditions for beginners and intermedite surfers. The surf school is certificaded by the Portuguese Surfing Federation, the Portuguses Tourism Bureau and local Port Authority.

We will help you find everyday the best waves to give you a great surfing experience in the Madeiran waves, enjoying as safely and in a fun environment.

When you join us for the surfing lessons, we will provide everything you need. Wetsuit, board, leash, wax, insurance, explanation about the area and the surfing conditions, two-hours surfing lesson with a local certified surf instructor.

You should bring comfortable clothing for the day, bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, water and a light snack.

Normally the meeting point is according to the surf spot that we will surf on the scheduled day
