Alongside the Tourist Octopus Card loaded with HKD 50, you get one one-way ticket between Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Kowloon Station, so either your arrival trip into town or your run back out to the airport is already covered. Both the card and the transfer ticket are collected together at Counter A13 in the Arrivals Hall, and the card then works by tap on subway, bus, ferry and tram, as well as at designated shops, food courts and vending machines. Top it up to a ceiling of HKD 3,000 as you go.
