You travel by bus with an English-speaking guide in a join-in group of up to 40 travellers, starting with a photo stop at Wakayama Castle (exterior only, around 20 minutes) and roughly two hours at Kuroshio Market. The coach then covers the 1.3-hour run to Nara, where you have about an hour in Nara Park and an hour at Tōdai-ji, again viewed from the outside. Meeting is at 8.20am and the bus returns to Osaka Umeda at 6.30pm, so budget a full day.

Booked for a specific travel date, with no timeslot to choose: the tour runs to one fixed schedule. Meet at 8.20am at Hilton Plaza West Shopping Mall – Exit 4B and the tour disbands at 6.30pm at Hilton Plaza Osaka Umeda. Bus legs are long — roughly 1.3 hours to Wakayama, 1.3 hours on to Nara and 1.5 hours back to Osaka. None of the four stops requires an advance reservation.
