This ticket covers a 4.5-hour self-guided canoe hire, starting with a boat transfer that drops you at the water banks of the first gorge, where you collect your canoe, double-ended paddle and life jacket. There's no guide with you on the water, so you decide how far you paddle, where you stop to swim and whether to push on to the second gorge. You book either the AM slot (8am-12:30pm) or the PM slot (1pm-5:30pm), and all guests need to be at the jetty 30 minutes before departure.

The hire runs approximately 4.5 hours and operates seven days per week, typically between June and November annually only. Choose the AM experience (8am-12:30pm) or the PM experience (1pm-5:30pm) when booking, and be at the jetty 30 minutes prior to departure. A high fitness level is required and portages vary in difficulty depending on river levels; children aged 6-12 inclusive must be accompanied by an adult.

- Non-refundable once booked; changes can be made up to 48 hours before the start time and are not permitted within 48 hours.
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in forfeiting the experience.
- A $50.00 pre-authorisation or refundable cash deposit is required per canoe at registration.
- Children aged 5 and under are not permitted to canoe due to safety regulations.
- Not suitable for participants with mobility issues.
- Wear appropriate enclosed footwear and stay aware of your surroundings on the water.
