Photography is allowed in non-restricted areas, though flash is not permitted anywhere.

The ticket is valid only on the date you select at booking and must be reserved at least 192 hours (8 days) in advance. Only adult tickets are available on this option. The museum sits within Shanghai International Automobile City; public transport is recommended, with Bus No. 116, 129 and other routes serving the area, and self-driving visitors can use the museum's designated car park.
