This ticket covers one seat on the 30-minute scenic helicopter flight, tracking out over Cairns City, Trinity Inlet, False Cape, Green Island, Arlington Reef and the Vlasoff and Upolu sand cays before returning over the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range. You check in at Zoom Helicopters at Cairns Airport for a mandatory safety briefing, then fly with a pilot/guide who provides commentary on the reef and its marine life, including turtles, rays, sharks, dolphins, dugongs and whales in season from July to November. Tea, coffee and bottled water are provided, and all fees and taxes are covered in the ticket.

Flights are booked for a set date and departure time, with tours departing between 8am and 6pm (times subject to change). Depart from Zoom Helicopters, 21 Bush Pilots Avenue, General Aviation, Cairns Airport, arriving no less than 20 minutes before your planned departure. A minimum of two passengers per booking applies; children aged 3 and over must occupy their own seat and pay the full ticket price, those aged 3 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult, and only one infant may travel per aircraft.

- Luggage is limited to 20kg per person (subject to aircraft limitations), and accurate passenger body and carry-on weights must be advised when booking
- Extra luggage for infants is only permitted if combined passenger and luggage weight is within aircraft limits on the day
- Full-size prams cannot be accommodated
- Expectant mothers fly at their own discretion; seatbelts must be worn at all times, so Zoom Helicopters advises consulting your doctor before booking
