You board the 'Reef Rocket' catamaran at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal for the 9am departure and cross to Green Island in around 45 minutes, with a snorkelling demonstration and reef presentation given on the way. The ticket covers the return cruise, two hours ashore and your choice of complimentary snorkelling gear or a glass bottom boat ride, with the Big Cat vessel available as an air-conditioned base during your island time. Places are booked individually, so you can mix adult and child seats in one booking.

Boarding starts at 8.15am and closes at 8.45am at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal, a short walk from most Cairns city hotels, and the tour is back in Cairns around 12.45pm–1pm. Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before boarding. Child places cover ages 4 to 12.
