ถ้ำม่อเกาคู (莫高窟) เป็นไฮไลท์จุดหนึ่งของเมืองตุนหวง และเป็น 1ใน 4 กลุ่มถ้ำพุทธศิลป์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของจีน “ม่อเกาคู” แปลว่า “ถ้ำสูงในทะเลทราย” ภายในถ้ำม่อเกาคูแต่ละห้อง จะมีรูปปั้นองค์พระพุทธรูปของแต่ละยุคสมัย ภาพวาดแกะสลักตามผนังถ้ำ บ่งบอกถึงเรื่องราวต่างๆในอดีตของจีนตามเส้นทางสายไหม นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการค้นพบพระไตรปิฎกของทิเบตและวัตถุโบราณเก่าแก่มากมายกว่า 5 หมื่นชิ้น ปัจจุบัน สถานที่แห่งนี้ได้ถูกจัดให้เป็นพื้นที่มรดกโลกด้วย ส่วนการเข้าชมในแต่ละคูหา ก็แล้วแต่เจ้าหน้าที่ของแต่ละกรุ๊ป จะนำทางกระจายกันไป เจ้าหน้าที่ที่นั่นจะเป็นระดับอาจารย์จบปริญญาโท แต่งชุดฟอร์มทุกคน…(เขาไม่อนุญาตให้ถ่ายรูปภายในถ้ำค่ะ)

สวยงาม ต้องลองมาดู มีการให้ชมภาพยนตร์ก่อน 2 โรง แล้วนั่งรถบัสของอุทยานเข้าไปประมาณ 10 กม มี guide บรรยายแต่ละถ้ำ เรียก taxi จากในเมืองมาประมาณ 10 กม ราคาประมาณ 26 yuan ขากลับมี taxi รออยู่ด้านนอกตลอด สะดวกมาก

ค่าบัตรเข้าคนละ258 หยวน พยายามจองเองแล้วแต่เข้าเว็บไซต์ทางการจองยากมาก เลยต้องฝากเพื่อนจีนจองให้ ขนาดเพื่อนจีนจอง 1 เบอร์จีนยังจองได้แค่ 1 ใบ และถ้าจองแล้วจะซื้อตั๋วซ้ำไม่ได้อีกใน 90 วัน นี่คือตอนเดือนเมษา 2024 นะคะ หลังจากนี้อาจจองง่ายขึ้นก็ได้ ไม่อาจรู้ คิดว่าดีลกับ agency อาจจะง่ายกว่า รอบไกด์ภาษาอังกฤษที่ได้คือรอบ 11.30 เข้าไปจะมีห้องให้นั่งชมวิดีโอก่อน 2 ห้อง ทันสมัยมากก ห้องแรกฟิลเหมือนนั่งเลคเชอร์ ห้องสองอธิบายถ้ำหลัก 8 ถ้ำฟิลเหมือนเก้าอี้หมุนได้แต่จริงๆเป็นมุมกล้องมากกว่า เสร็จแล้วถึงขึ้นรถบัสไปต่อที่ถ้ำจริงๆ เดินตามไกด์ ฟังไกด์อธิบาย ให้เกียรติสถานที่ไม่ถ่ายภาพในถ้ำ ไม่หยิบจับ ถือว่าคุ้มมากๆ ราคารับได้ค่ะ
