Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill

From the Goat Hill Observatory, you can not only see the leisurely scenery of sheep grazing on the vast pasture, but when the weather is clear, you can also have a panoramic view of Sapporo Dome and Ishikari Plain. The Hill of Sheep, the Birth of the Observatory, was once a research facility for the Yuehan Sheep Farm of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce. Watching sheep shearing To welcome the summer, there will be sheep shearing activities in the early spring, which are held together with the Spring Festival held every year during the Golden Week. Many Sapporo citizens and tourists come here to see this rare work scene.
