Your ticket is valid for one named date and admits you any time during sightseeing hours, with a multimedia guide handed to you on arrival. You're free to move between the cathedral floor, the crypt and the Dome Galleries in whatever order suits you, so long as you're inside before last entry. Headphones are provided on site, or you can bring your own 3.5mm pair or download the free app to your phone instead.

Doors open for sightseeing 8:30am to 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 4:30pm on Wednesday; the cathedral is closed to visitors on Sundays. Last entry for sightseeing is 4pm and last entry to the Dome Galleries is 4:15pm. Tickets are sold as Adult and Child, with children's multimedia guides covering ages 6 to 17.
