The Kurashiki Bikan area is located on the banks of the Kurashiki River and covers an area of about 13.5 hectares. It is one of the only ancient towns in Japan. Similar to the domestic Wuzhen and Xitang, but the architectural style is inconsistent. There are many mansions of businessmen at that time and modern buildings such as the Ohara Art Museum and many museums that were built later.

오카야마 시내에서 기차 4정거장 거리에 위치한 구라시키 미관지구. 평일 낮임에도 거리를 오가는 관광객이 많고 그만큼 볼거리가 많습니다. 오카야마가 생각보다 작은 도시이고, 고라쿠엔을 제외하면 관광지가 그리 많지 않았는데요. 이곳에 오니 오카야마를 한번쯤 와볼만한 도시라는 명분이 생겼다는 느낌일까요. 해가 지고 도시 곳곳에 조명이 켜지면, 그리고 따뜻한 봄이 와서 꽃들이 개화하는 시즌이 되면 한층 더 좋은 분위기로 변모하지 않을까 싶습니다.

리뷰가 26000개나 되는 구라시키 미관지구. 구라시키 대표 관광지이자 옛스러운 일본 전통 거리 느낌이 가득했다. 다만 생각보다 소도시를 자주 여행하거나 방문하는 사람들에게는 뭔가 별로 감흥이 없을 정도로 이게 다야? 이런 느낌이 들고 대도시만 여행하는 사람들은 교토처럼 되게 재밌는 관광지가 될 거 같다. 주변에 먹을것도 많고 구경할것도 많지만 뭔가 다 비슷한 느낌이라서 굳이 1박은 할 필요는 없을 거 같고 당일치기로 충분할 거 같다.

[24.09.05] 오카야마 여행 구라시키 미관지구는 에도 시대의 상인 가옥과 흰 벽 건물이 늘어선 전통적인 아름다움을 간직한 곳입니다. 이 지역은 한때 물자 운송의 중심지였으며, 그 흔적인 버드나무와 작은 강이 고풍스러운 분위기를 더해줍니다. 기대에 비해 규모가 그리 크지 않아서 생각보다는 조금 아쉽다는 느낌도 있었어요. 하지만 강을 따라 거닐며 예쁜 건물과 작은 가게들을 구경하는 재미는 있습니다. 특히 해가 질 무렵이나 아침 일찍 방문하면 더욱 조용하고 운치 있는 풍경을 만끽할 수 있을 것 같아요.

히로시마현의 동쪽을 간 김에, 오카야마현의 유명한 관광 명소인 구라시키시의 미관지구까지 들러보았습니다. 타이밍 좋게 일몰 시간 즈음에 방문하였더니, 사람도 아주 많지는 않고 멋진 건축물들과, 일몰이 비춰지는 River의 조화가 아름다웠습니다. 다시 한번 방문해보고 싶은 곳입니다.

다카마츠, 오카야마에 있으시면 꼭 들르시길 추천드립니다. 오카야마역에서 전철로 18분, 구라시키역에서 걸어서 10분이면 도착합니다. 거리가 굉장히 예쁘고 서양과 일본이 합쳐진 교토와는 다른 분위기입니다. 거리도 그렇게 크지 않아서 당일치기 반나절이면 충분히 둘러볼수 있습니다. 개인적으로 흰색벽에 일몰의 붉은 빛이 비치는 모습이 굉장히 아름다워 일몰시간에 있게 있는걸 추천드립니다.
