The F1 Exhibition debutta in Asia presso Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, portando in città una mostra di fama mondiale sulla storia della Formula 1 per una stagione limitata. Distribuita in sette sale tematiche, l'esposizione ripercorre oltre 75 anni di questo sport attraverso auto iconiche, rari manufatti e tecnologie interattive, offrendoti uno sguardo ravvicinato a macchine come la Red Bull RB7, vincitrice del titolo 2011, e la BAR Honda 005 del 2003.
Oltre alle auto, troverai più di 25 tute da gara, oltre 50 caschi e più di 100 interviste esclusive integrate nel percorso, insieme a installazioni pratiche che spiegano l'ingegneria dietro le moderne auto di F1. I simulatori di guida ti permettono di metterti al volante e, se vuoi spingerti oltre, il biglietto aggiuntivo per il Fastest Lap Simulator ti farà accomodare in un abitacolo costruito per replicare l'esatta posizione di guida di un pilota professionista, mentre stabilisci il tuo tempo sul giro sul Marina Bay Circuit.
La mostra si trova all'interno di Gardens by the Bay, accanto a Satay by the Bay e a pochi passi dalla stazione MRT di Gardens by the Bay. Un'app dedicata offre un tour audio dello spazio, quindi ti consigliamo di portare le tue cuffie prima di entrare.
Cosa aspettarsi
La tua visita inizia entrando nella prima delle sette sale tematiche, ognuna delle quali approfondisce la precedente per raccontare la storia della Formula 1, dai suoi albori alle più recenti battaglie per il campionato. Potrai muoverti al tuo ritmo tra vere auto da corsa, abitacoli, tute da gara e caschi, con schermi interattivi e display tecnici che spiegano l'ingegneria necessaria per costruire un'auto di F1. Interviste d'archivio e rari manufatti sono posizionati lungo tutto il percorso, offrendo un contesto alle auto e ai piloti in mostra.
Verso la fine del percorso, simulatori di corsa interattivi ti permettono di cimentarti alla guida e, se hai aggiunto il biglietto per il Fastest Lap Simulator, entrerai in un abitacolo progettato per rispecchiare la posizione di seduta di un vero pilota di F1 prima di effettuare un giro cronometrato sul Marina Bay Circuit. La mostra si conclude con un finale cinematografico di luci e suoni al Pit Wall, che chiude il viaggio attraverso la storia della F1 prima di uscire nuovamente verso Gardens by the Bay.
