Informazioni sull'esperienza
Questo tour guidato di 2 giorni ti condurrà da Atene verso due dei siti storici più suggestivi della Grecia: Delfi e Meteora. Il primo giorno attraverserai la campagna greca, passando per Thebes, Levadia e Arachova, prima di raggiungere Delfi, considerata nella mitologia greca il centro dell'universo. Qui ammirerai le rovine del Tempio di Apollo, risalenti al IV secolo a.C., insieme a un teatro da 5.000 posti e allo stadio che un tempo ospitava i Giochi Pitici.
Il tour prosegue poi verso Kalambaka, una cittadina situata sotto le torri rocciose di Meteora, dove trascorrerai la notte. Il secondo giorno è dedicato ai monasteri di Meteora, costruiti su scogliere che raggiungono in media 1.000 piedi di altezza e colonizzate per la prima volta da monaci eremiti nel IX secolo. Dei 20 monasteri originali, oggi ne rimangono sei, che avrai modo di visitare ammirando il panorama sulla valle sottostante.
Durante il viaggio di ritorno verso Atene, il tour prevede una breve sosta al monumento a Leonida, il re spartano caduto nella Battaglia delle Termopili nel 480 a.C. In questi due giorni, questo tour guidato combina storia archeologica, scenari montani e patrimonio religioso in un unico itinerario con partenza da Atene.

Il tour inizia con la partenza da Atene passando per Thebes, Levadia e Arachova, con arrivo a Delfi verso mezzogiorno.
