Showa Shinzan is named after the active volcano that erupted in the early years of the Showa era. Originally, the height of the mountain was only 270 meters. There are about 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears in the Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch. The ranch area is large, and brown bears are divided into relatively fixed areas according to age groups. There is a food counter at the entrance to each ranch for the brown bears. Visitors can buy apples, biscuits and other foods here, and experience the fun of feeding bears.
