Day 1: Zurich or Lucerne - Bernese Oberland Relax on the scenic coach journey from Zurich or Lucerne and travel through one of Switzerland's most attractive Alpine destinations. Head to the magnificent Jungfrau region and spend the afternoon and night in Interlaken or Grindelwald on arrival.
Option 1: Interlaken: Located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, Interlaken is the region's shopping paradise. Use your free time to go on a cruise, ride the funicular to Harder Kulm or let off some steam at the Jungfrau Park theme park.
Option 2: Grindelwald: Nestled in an impressive Alpine landscape, Grindelwald is a paradise for nature lovers. Hike the well-prepared trails and enjoy stunning views of the triple peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Savor authentic local food and folk music in the evening.
Day 2: Bernese Oberland - Zurich Board the cable car at the Grindelwald Terminal for a spectacular 15-minute ride to the Eiger Glacier by gondola. From there, exchange to a cogwheel train that will take you to the peak of Jungfraujoch.
Arrive at the summit and immerse yourself in a wonderland of ice, snow and rock. Visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace for panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and Europe’s longest glacier. Stroll through the tunnels of the Ice Palace at the heart of the glacier. Make your way back to Zurich or Lucerne via peaceful resorts such as Wengen.
