Nous avons visité le grand parc avant d'aller voir le grand bouddha. Parc magnifique, plusieurs bouddhas vraiment impressionnant (couché, gravé dans la roche, intégré dans des caves, etc.). Nous étions déjà très impressionnés avant d'arriver au grand Bouddha. Le grand Bouddha l'est encore plus. Voir le bouddha d'en haut est difficile. Des barrières nous interdisent de nous pencher pour bien voir (c'est plutôt une bonne idée d'avoir installer ces barrières :) ). Possible de descendre au pied du Bouddha d'où la vue est bien meilleure. 336 marches pour remonter ensuite (on a le temps de les compter !) La descente est conseillée pour une meilleure expérience. Nous y sommes allés en semaine où nous étions sûrs qu'il n'y aurait pas trop de monde.

Lieu très beau. Prévoyez plusieurs heures pour visiter les temples environnants et autres résidences. Depuis Chengdu, c’est très simple ! Prenez le train jusqu’à Leshan puis le bus K1 depuis la gare de bus (sortir de la gare de train et aller en face à la gare de bus). 1h30 au total 👌 Concernant le Buddha, vous ne le verrez que d’en haut car les escaliers et le bas sont fermés pour travaux (l’entrée reste au même prix 😞) Je ne mets que 4 car j’aurais aimé être informée du fait que les vues les plus intéressantes ne soient pas accessibles - ça aurait sûrement conditionné mes choix de visites autour de Chengdu.

Magnifique site. Cependant nous avons préférés celui dans la grotte (51 mètres) et l'autre Bouddha assis (33 mètres) où il y avait pratiquement personne (cette deuxième section est aussi payante à 80 yuans).
