<p>teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi se trouve dans le quartier culturel de Saadiyat, juste à côté du Louvre Abu Dhabi et de Manarat Al Saadiyat. Fruit d’une collaboration entre le collectif artistique teamLab, le Département de la culture et du tourisme d’Abu Dhabi et le groupe Miral, cet espace artistique immersif s’appuie sur son architecture ondulante, semblable à un nuage, pour estomper la frontière entre l’environnement bâti et le monde naturel qui l’entoure. Plutôt que de simplement passer devant des œuvres statiques, vous évoluez dans des espaces où l’art lui-même réagit à votre présence.</p><p>Le lieu est divisé en une « zone sèche » et une « zone humide », cette dernière abritant des installations d’eau peu profonde que vous traversez à pied dans le cadre de l’expérience. Chaque élément, des jeux de lumière aux sons, évolue en fonction de la façon dont les visiteurs se déplacent, touchent et interagissent avec l’espace ; ainsi, aucune visite ne se déroule exactement de la même manière. Il s’agit moins d’une galerie au sens traditionnel du terme que d’un environnement vivant construit autour de l’idée de teamLab d’explorer la relation entre l’homme et la nature grâce à la technologie interactive.</p><p>Juste à l’extérieur, la plage de l’île de Saadiyat, avec son sable blanc et sa végétation, est accessible à tout moment, ce qui permet de combiner facilement quelques heures passées à teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi avec un moment sur le sable avant ou après.</p>
À quoi s'attendre
Vous commencerez par pénétrer dans la structure caractéristique en forme de nuage de teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, où la frontière entre l’intérieur et l’extérieur commence à s’estomper presque immédiatement. De là, vous évoluerez à votre rythme à travers une succession de salles et d’installations dans la « Dry Zone », où la lumière, les projections et le son réagissent à vos mouvements, et dans la « Wet Zone », où l’eau peu profonde fait partie intégrante de l’œuvre d’art elle-même. Il n’y a pas d’itinéraire fixe : vous êtes invité à flâner, à faire une pause et à interagir plutôt que de suivre un parcours balisé.

- La « Wet Zone » implique de marcher dans de l'eau peu profonde ; portez donc des vêtements que vous ne craignez pas de mouiller un peu ou apportez des vêtements de rechange.
