Levi: Northern Lights Adventure in the Wild, Campfire Treats

This small group tour, hosted by Soma Adventures — a truly local family business — will change the way you see Lapland and its authenticity. Your guides, born and raised here, will pick you up around 9 pm comfortably from your accommodation at the agreed time.

We will travel about 40 km/ 40 min from Levi into the wilderness, away from Levi lights and noise making stops whenever we spot something interesting, on our way to the family’s traditional and genuinely authentic Lapland wilderness cabin by a remote lake. When we arrive, you’ll be greeted by a stunning genuine, light- and noise-free setting that is sure to capture your heart.

We will gaze at the starry sky and, with luck, the Northern Lights while standing or even lying comfortably on reindeer hides on the frozen lake. Inside the super cozy cabin, we’ll warm up by the fireplace, enjoy homemade pies baked by the owner, freshly made marshmallows, and hot berry juice/tee while talking about the Northern Lights facts and fictions and local life here near Levi’s wilderness.

If you wish, you can also try snowshoeing on the lake with a headlamp. We’ll love to take also photos of you to remember your time with us.

The tour lasts total about 3.5 hours, you will be back at home 1.30 am — enough time for the sky to shift and transform into breathtaking shapes.
