Ka Ka
Este es un campo difícil con muchos búnkeres. Los búnkeres son grandes y profundos, lo que dificulta escapar una vez dentro, así que mantenerse alejado es clave para anotar. Las calles son anchas y seguras. El campo es llano, lo que lo convierte en uno de los más fáciles de Batam. Los caddies fueron amables y me dieron buenos consejos. Las porciones de comida eran generosas, aunque un poco saladas. Sin embargo, las tarifas del campo de golf son bastante razonables para Batam. Al parecer, se permiten aviones jumbo, y vi a un grupo de 11 personas. Me alegro de no haberlas seguido, pero el campo de golf debería tener restricciones. Las instalaciones también estaban anticuadas.
Chuck Park
Este es el campo de golf más popular de Batam. El personal de reservas, recepción, caddies, vestuarios, cafetería y restaurante es amable y servicial. Para jugadores individuales o en pareja, recomiendo empezar antes de las 7:00. Después de las 8:00, se llena de grupos y de gente que llega en ferry desde Singapur. Imagino que ocurre lo mismo en otros campos de golf de Batam.

Uno de los legendarios campos de golf de Batam, ubicado en Nongsa, que también alberga muchos de los mejores hoteles y resorts de la ciudad, es un campo de golf desde donde se puede disfrutar de vistas del centro de Batam a lo lejos.

Anteriormente se llamaba Tering Bay y no tenía muy buenas críticas. Jugué allí hace poco, vi el cambio de nombre y me enteré de que tiene una nueva administración. En general, me sorprendió gratamente que el campo esté bastante bien cuidado. El fairway está bien y los greens son buenos. El recorrido en general es amplio, pero también desafiante, con muchos bunkers. También tienen buggies nuevos por un suplemento (creo que 100.000 rupias por persona) y vi a algunos caddies jóvenes.

Parece más un safari que un campo de golf. Cada hoyo está lleno de monos, lagartos y gallinas. Hay muchos búnkeres y hace un poco de viento.
