<p>teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi se encuentra en el Distrito Cultural de Saadiyat, justo al lado del Louvre Abu Dhabi y de Manarat Al Saadiyat. Construido gracias a la colaboración entre el colectivo artístico teamLab, el Departamento de Cultura y Turismo de Abu Dabi y el Grupo Miral, este espacio artístico inmersivo toma como punto de partida su arquitectura ondulante, similar a una nube, para difuminar la línea divisoria entre el entorno construido y el mundo natural que lo rodea. En lugar de pasar por delante de exposiciones estáticas, el visitante se desplaza por espacios en los que el propio arte reacciona a su presencia.</p><p>El recinto se divide en una «zona seca» y una «zona húmeda», esta última con instalaciones de agua poco profunda por las que se camina como parte de la experiencia. Cada elemento, desde los patrones de luz hasta el sonido, cambia en función de cómo se mueven los visitantes, tocan e interactúan con el espacio, por lo que no hay dos visitas que se desarrollen exactamente de la misma manera. No se trata tanto de una galería en el sentido tradicional como de un entorno vivo construido en torno a la idea de teamLab de explorar la relación entre las personas y la naturaleza a través de la tecnología interactiva.</p><p>Justo al salir, la playa de la isla de Saadiyat, con su arena blanca y su vegetación, está abierta al público en todo momento, lo que permite combinar fácilmente unas horas en teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi con un rato en la arena antes o después.</p>
Qué esperar
Empezarás entrando en la característica estructura con forma de nube de teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, donde la frontera entre el interior y el exterior comienza a difuminarse casi de inmediato. Desde allí, te desplazarás a tu propio ritmo por una sucesión de salas e instalaciones a lo largo de la «Zona Seca», donde la luz, las proyecciones y el sonido responden a tus movimientos, y la «Zona Húmeda», donde el agua poco profunda se convierte en parte de la propia obra de arte. No hay un recorrido fijo: se te anima a deambular, hacer pausas e interactuar, en lugar de seguir un itinerario marcado.
Cosas a tener en cuenta
- La «Zona Húmeda» implica caminar por agua poco profunda, así que ponte ropa que no te importe que se moje un poco o tráete ropa de recambio.
- En las zonas acuáticas, se puede sustituir el calzado cerrado por ir descalzo o llevar sandalias; comprueba qué es lo más práctico para tu visita.
- Algunas instalaciones cuentan con poca iluminación, así que deja que tus ojos se adapten poco a poco al pasar de un espacio a otro.
- Aprovecha para visitar también el Louvre Abu Dhabi o Manarat Al Saadiyat, ya que se encuentran a poca distancia a pie.
- Trae una toalla o un par de zapatos de recambio si tienes pensado ir después a la playa de la isla de Saadiyat.
