Aletsch Glacier: Round-trip Cable Car Ticket to Eggishorn

Take a 20-minute cable car journey from Fiesch towards Eggishorn. Make a quick change at Fiescheralp which is easy and suitable for those with limited mobility; the Eggishorn is suitable for wheelchairs and prams.

When you reach the top of Eggishorn, head over to the impressive viewpoint at an altitude of 2869 meters. Turn around and get a view of the higher peaks and most famous mountains of Switzerland. Observe the Mönch, the Eiger, the Jungfrau and Aletschhorn to the north, and .Weisshorn, the Mischabel group with the Dom, and the Matterhorn itself towards the west.

For the sportive ones, hike to the top of Eggishorn (single trail, 30 minutes one way) for an unforgettable 360° view and make your unique Instagram picture. Or just walk around the viewpoint on the informative circular themed trail or make you picture at the the sign of the “Grand Tour of Switzerland” by Switzerland Tourism, which offers an outstanding spot for a photo.
