What to expect
Located about 40 kilometers west of the main island of Okinawa, it consists of more than 30 islands. All islands are uninhabited except Tokashiki Island, Zamami Island, Aka Island, and Keruma Island. The transparency of the nearby ocean is famous in the world, and it is a well-known diving and whale watching resort. The peak season for whale watching in the Kerama Islands is from January to April every year.
