About this ticket
Your pass gives you unlimited travel for 7 consecutive days on specified JR trains in the Kansai and Hokuriku areas, including the HARUKA and THUNDERBIRD limited express services. You will receive a physical Exchange Order by post, which you must swap for the actual pass at a designated JR office in Japan within 90 days of it being issued. You can then activate your pass within 30 days to begin your travels.

- Travel on the Tokaido Shinkansen line between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo
- Travel on the Sanyo Shinkansen line between Okayama and Hakata
- Travel on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line between Joetsu-Myoko and Tokyo

Practical info
The pass is valid for 7 consecutive days from your chosen start date. Your Exchange Order must be swapped for the pass in Japan within 90 days of being issued, and you then have 30 days to activate it. This pass is for adults (ages 13 and over) and children (ages 4–12). Up to two children aged 1–5 may travel free per adult, provided they do not occupy a seat.
How to redeem
This is not a mobile ticket. A physical Exchange Order will be delivered to your address by courier. In Japan, you must present this physical document, along with your passport showing a 'Temporary Visitor' stamp, at a designated JR Exchange Office to receive your actual rail pass. The voucher in your confirmation email cannot be used for redemption.
Important notes
- This pass is only for foreign tourists with a 'Temporary Visitor' stamp in their non-Japanese passport. Ensure you get this stamp at immigration by not using the automated gates.
- The full name and country of residence provided at booking must exactly match your passport.
- Please book at least two weeks before your trip to Japan to allow for delivery of the Exchange Order.
- Japanese citizens may be eligible only if they have lived outside Japan for 10+ years and can provide an official Certificate of Overseas Residence.
- This product is non-refundable once booked.
