What to expect

Gyeongju Wonder Space is an immersive experience park that combines modern technology with the culture of a thousand-year-old capital.

The park is divided into several themed areas, each of which cleverly combines the historical elements of the Silla Dynasty with modern technology. The "Digital Time Tunnel" uses holographic projection technology to allow visitors to travel back to the bustling streets of ancient Gyeongju and experience the city life thousands of years ago. The "Virtual Archaeology Museum" uses AR technology to allow visitors to become archaeologists, discover cultural relics in virtual ruins, and learn about the historical stories behind the cultural relics. The "Smart Garden" area combines traditional garden art with smart lighting and sound systems, presenting different landscape effects as time and seasons change. At night, the LED devices in the garden will change colors according to the interaction of visitors, creating a dreamy atmosphere.

For visitors who like to get their hands dirty, the "Creative Workshop" offers a series of DIY activities that combine traditional crafts with modern design. Visitors can use 3D printing technology to make personalized Silla-style jewelry, or learn traditional pottery techniques with the help of VR. The "Digital Food Street" perfectly combines traditional Korean food with technology. Here you can not only taste authentic Gyeongju snacks, but also learn about the historical origins and production process of each dish through interactive tables.

In order to help tourists better understand the history and culture of Gyeongju, the park also has a "smart library" that provides tourists with rich historical information and cultural interpretations through a touch screen and Audio Guide system.

Very fun theme park - only a 30min bus ride out from the Gyeongju city centre. We were quite surprised that this theme park doesnt appear on many lists of the best things to do in the city - as it's one of the best things we did. We went on a weekday and there were basically no lines for any rides. It's very quiet which means you get to go on the rides multiple times. There were also a tonne of thrill rides. Unfortunately the water park rides were closed as we went in winter however can only imagine how much better this park would be if those were open too. Highly recommend if going to Gyeongju.

Gyeongju World is renowned as Korea's best theme park for its exciting attractions. Located in the heart of Gyeongju Bomun Tourist Complex, this park features Korea's first roller coaster and Ferris wheel, stimulating excitement. Visitors in their teens and twenties will find it particularly enjoyable.

Great Amusement park with a large variety in rides and attractions. We were there on day when it wasn’t crowded, but they operate the coasters with only 1 train which still led to waiting times up to 1 hour

They have a lot of extreme rides. I love the good view at the top of the highest sleding rides.. Most of the kids allowed only are 120 meters above.. we came during winter season on friday month of febuary, and unfortunately, their water rides are closed, The highest sleding rides have a crowded place because their cable car have to be occupied alternately even its a long line, the same thing with a rooler coaster too many people lining up. The 30 minutes waiting will not be enough, it will be more depending on the day and season.
