Mojiko Retro Observation Deck is a prominent structure visible from the station. The entrance fee is collected on the viewing deck for a affordable price of ¥300. We got here on a rainy day but the view is still breathtaking. You have a bird's eye view of the whole region surrounding the station and the wharf area. Would have stayed for a night view if I could.

The Mojiko Retro Observation Gallery is a must-visit! For just ¥300, you get a stunning 270° view of the port, Kanmon Strait, and Shimonoseki. Visiting in the early evening was magical—the daylight fading and the town lights coming alive made it unforgettable. Perfect way to end a stroll through Mojiko Retro.

Such a vibe! Visited on a Tuesday. The staff are very sweet and friendly, guiding us up the elevator and directing us to the ticket counter. Tickets are ¥300 for adults and gain you another entry if you feel like coming back later as we did. The view from the 31st floor was beautiful during the day as well as night, but the windows have slight glare which may be a little annoying for taking pictures. There is information around the room about the Kanmon Strait, and a nice cafe to sit and enjoy the view. The cheese cake was very good. I enjoyed the jazz music they had going on too, great atmosphere. They even had a stamp rally around town, very fun. Thank you Mojiko xx 😚🩷

A lovely spot to have a panoramic glance over Moji and nearby areas. Not really much to do on the viewing deck other than taking pictures and buying drinks from the cafe. Being able to re-enter is a good perk to have though. 9/10 would recommend

You can see the entire Mojiko and Kanmon Bridge from 31F. The views are totally different between night and day.
